Oliver 1750 decals and stuff

Hi,
I am painting an Oliver 1750 for a friend. Does anyone know where I can get GOOD decals and the metal "Oliver" side plates for it brand new? The old ones are rusted and I don't really want to hand paint them if I can get new ones to replace it. Also need the front emblem and odd and end pieces. Let me know the best place and thank you very much! Luke

Best decals I have used are Dumonts Decals at 641-622-2592. As far as the side plates I would just sand them down and paint them clover white and apply the new decals, I dont think they make them new anymore and you would have to get them from a parts yard somewhere if yours are bent up or something. Depending on where you are located you can get the front emblem and sheet metal pieces from a boneyard like Worthington parts, they have a website if you do a serach or Wisconson tractor parts. There again I dont think they are making any of those parts new. Good luck.

I live about a 1/2 hr away from Wisconsin Tractor parts. They have ALOT of Oliver's sitting there waiting to be ripped apart. Also a good # of deere's i think, but rarely any massey's. Usually I like to check there first for almost any part, espesially tires and such.

I read your post about living 1/2 hour from Wisconsin tractor parts. I live in Southwestern Ontario so I'm not familiar at all with the place but would there happen to be case tractors sitting around? I know this is an Oliver forum (I like all tractors) but I recently restored a Case 311-B and absolutely can not find a seat frame for it. I ordered new upholstery for it but can't find the frame. Just wondered if you could get me the info of this place so I could contact them and find out if they have Case parts too. Thanks for your time. DArren
