Oliver 1650 with backhoe

I have found a 1650 that may be for sale. it is a very large machine and as such will probably require a large amount of money to repair. two rams are iffy on loader and power steering is leaking heavily. Overall, the machine looks pretty solid. What is this worth and is it possible to fix the power steering. I turned the steering wheel with the engine off, the steering wheel just spins, is this normal? There is a plate on the foot pedal area thathas 1650 on the top line 365-72010 on the second and 176 951-475 on the third. can this reveal the year? All help would greatly be appreciated.

The tractor is the industrial version of the 1650 Ag tractor. Lets breakdown the numbers that you listed. 365 tells us that it is the third generation of the 1650. 7 following the dash indicates it had a industrial front axle, the 2 indicates it was built with a diesel engine. It had a loader installed at the factory.
Second group of numbers, the first six is the serial number, indicates it was built in 1967. Last three is the transmission / final drive code. Your tractor code 475 has a high speed transmission, with a low speed ring and pinion (7 tooth pinion / 47 tooth ring gear), result is a slower travel speed as compared to Ag tractor.
Steering cylinder should be easy to repair, it has O rings and quad ring seals that need to be replaced. Don't know about the loader cylinders.

I really appreciate your time Star. When it comes time, do you know who I contact about these parts.
I was told yesterday that I can buy the 1650. The owner told me that it has high and low speed. He also told me that it has a Lycoming engine. I know that is an aviation company now, did they make good engines back then? One last question, for now. Any idea how much this thing weighs?

If it really has a Lycoming engine, post a picture, I'd love to see it!

Weight with non-ballasted tires is about 7,000 lb.

The previous owner tells me it is a Lycoming for sure. How will I know for sure? It sounds like it was just built. The again I proabably just heard a piston fall to the pavement because I said that.
