OC 46 found and coming to a new home for $800

Well I have found another suprise under the trap. I was at work the other day and a guy was talking about crawlers and said that his father in law had an oc-4. I ask him about it and he told me about another one that he had found and decided not to buy and that it was an oliver and it turns out that the owner is the cousin of another guy at work. He was not sure what it was but thought that it was an oc 4. I looked at it last friday but the trap still was frozen on it. Tonight we were able to get the trap off of it and found out that it was a OC-46. The serial number makes it a 1959 and every thing is free on it, just not running at the moment. I got and idea of what he would want for it and we offered him 800 for it and he took it. Can't believe that we got it for that and would never expect to get one for that and now have another summer project.

Good job Eric. Occasionaly you come across deals like this. I found an 88 RC in Tennessee a few years ago that the lady wanted $1500 for. I didn't have that kind of money at the time but as we were about to leave she asked if I would give $500 for it? I couldn't believe what I heard. I stood there with my mouth open unable to speak. My wife said she would buy it for me for my Christmas present!!! I drained about 5 gallons of water and oil from the pan, refilled with fresh oil and new filter, filled the carb with gas and it fired up and the old 88 ran perfectly. (until the carb ran out of gas anyway!)
