Hydraulic couplers for a 1650

I need to replace the worn out quick connect remote couplers. Can anyone give me any advice as to the proper type/brand for a 1650D. Can I just pick some up at a TSC or an AGCO dealer?

I certainly agree with the others. I would get the newer ISO couplers. Couple under presure couplers are awfully nice. They are more money than the regular couplers, but sure are nice when you have hoses that still have some pressure on them.

I replaced one set of remotes on my Oliver 1555 with a kit out of Shoup Catalog . I think they call it a hydraulic breakaway kit . It included two remote female couplers that can be coupled under pressure and that have handles to open and close the hydraulic flow , a spring loaded cover and a bracket to mount to the tractor . Price was about $90 to 100 for whole unit . I have been pleased with how they work and how they hook and unhook . You might have some trouble with the bracket that would require bending it or twisting it 90 degrees to make it fit . I also added a set of these to an 1850 I have .

E J is correct go with ISO style. My advice is to go with 8000 series Pioneer, as they will couple and uncouple if there is still pressure in the lines. Female bodys are 8250-? (with ? being thread choice -4 = 1/2npt). Complete kit with bracket is 8500-4 (for npt female threads).

I would go with the new ISO style would be more univeral with other hydraulic couplers.
