I have a 1959 770 Diesel with a factory 3 point hitch. Is there any way to get it to a float position when using it with a rear blade? Did Oliver ever have a draft control for this set-up?

Paul,
To have a float on your tractor's hydraulic system you will need to add an external hydraulic valve with a float position in it. Run your 3 point cylinder hoses through that. You could make a partial float by changing your hydraulic cylinder to a one-way cylinder and put a bypass valve in the pressure line to relieve the oil pressure. Run that line into your hydraulic reservoir drain plug.
