88 engine in 77?

Does anybody know if a straight 88 engine would bolt into a 77 tub and body with little or no modification?

Yes,engine bolts into 77 frame.Need shorter hollow clutch tube and pto shaft,take out spacers on front gas tank support check radiator shroud for clearence may have to shim up some.It can be done.Have did one also 880 motor in 770 and a 283 in 77.

Cooling not enough radiator if you pulled to hard for a while.More rows of tubes may help.

Did it bolt right up,which clutch,flywheel,etc.and what about motor mount position?
