I need the torque specifications for the energy cell holders and injector bolts (if available). Also, I have re-lapped the sealing faces of the cell caps and cell bodies, but my #1 cylinder cell body had been indented on the cylinder end. Looks like a bufoon took a hard punch to it through the injector orafice. How critical is the funneled surface of it? The hole is not restricted, but the cone shape is definately compromised. Does anyone out there have a used one in good shape, am I best off looking for a new one, or will it be OK the way it is? Thanks for the help.

I made a mistake on the subject line. This is a 1962 model year 880.

Thanks anyway, but for lack of response I made numerous calls to some former Oliver dealers and found the information to be 12-15 ft lbs for the injector stud nuts and no more than 50-55 ft lbs for the cell cap nuts. I had previously requested recommendations for carbon cleaner/solvent for the energy cells. After receiving no response for that request, I purchased some Gunk brand carburetor cleaner from Fleet/Farm in a gallon can and let them soak for a few days each. The product worked very well and I now have ample supply to clean many carbs and other items. The can is supplied with a strainer basket which makes retrieval of the parts easy.
So I guess unless someone has any information to prove what I have researched incorrect, hope this helps someone else.
