I pull a 77 gas-job. Would bigger valves in the head help that much at stock rpm's??? What else could be done to the head???? Thanks in advance.

Do a search here and under the pulling forums for 77 head, oliver 77, and bigger valves. There's been postings covering all sort of discussions on it,you will get more info searching on previous post then from asking the question once.I been where you are now.On my 77 I loaded bigger valves, yes it helps but the factory manifold and carb.restrects most of the head work(a manifold from a super77,1550,with bigger carb is needed).Milling the head a 1/8"inch will kick up the compression alot. Good luck,Dan
