Best friends dad had a 60 - a single 16" plow was all that it could handle in anything other than sand! Worked great for cultivating (2 rows) and making hay. If you use for brushhogging you need to get a overrunning clutch for the pto.

Best way to describe it is a light duty general purpose or row crop tractor.
My dad used his for all the planting, seeding, grain hauling etc. It would pull a two bottom plow but was not made for plowing or discing.
If you've driven one you know it's a very handy tractor because it is so maneuverable.
Power would not be a problem for the brush hog, but the '60 does not have live power and that's a big drawback.

I had a 60 Oliver and it was a very good tractor for a 2 row cultivater. It had a rod from the steering that would lock the brake on the wheel in the direction you were turning.

I'm beginning to wonder that too. I bought one last fall with a blade on it. I found it just wasn't strong enough to push any real snow. I am planning to take the blade off this summer and use it for cutting grass and hauling water. I'm curious to see what comments you get.

I have two 60`s that I use to rake hay. They turn
easy but mine are 4-speeds so it takes forever to
go the three miles from my house to the hay field.
I also use them in antique tractor pulls. They are
very competitive in the 2500lb class.
