can anyone tell me if the late 550 or 660 head has a smaller combustion chamber than the older 66 head..wanting to fix one for pulling but dont want to spend money on late model head if i can machine bigger valves into older head and save my money that way..thanks for the help

I just had my early 66 motor rebuilt- with 88 valves & springs much cheaper than getting a later head- and not knowing just how good it is.

Any of these mods work on a late 60? Sure would be nice to beef up the 60 so it compares a little better to my CA Allis.
