1974 2255, nice, cab, heat, air needs yearly recharge, new tires all around plus 75% duals, 180HP on dyno. This guy has 1655, 1855 and 2255 and all are nicely kept up and shedded. The only work that he knows of was repairing a trans lock up. Reports that it didn't have enough weight to pull a 32' field cultivator in the clay (spun out not stalled).

Wants around $10,000. Whatcha think? I suspect it's worth it but too rich for my wife to tolerate.

Odd thing is it's only 10 miles from home - no hauling involved.

Although I'm not an Oliver man, and 10 G's is a big chunk of change, I think I'd grab it up anyway, considering the historical significance. If I'm not mistaken, the 2255 was the LAST to wear the Oliver name.

Yep, I agree. For that price you could use a new lawn mower! Wish I could find one that close to home..

Sounds about right for that tractor, but I agree, I cant afford it either. Seems like that is the case, when something near you comes up for sale even if it is a good deal I have alreay bought something else halfway across the country that I had to pay to get shipped to me.

Oh get it anyways and tell the wife you needed something to mow the grass and grade the driveway..... FRYING PAN ---> *CLANG*
