I am finally going to have to fix the hydraulics on my 1855. What are my options? Any reasonable rebuilts out there or can I rebuild myself? How about used or a good place to send it to be rebuilt? Thanks in advance.

We use an aftermarket pump available from Hi-Cap or A & I quite a bit less than oem. The hi capacity pump in the earlier post needs more than just the pump. Lines, filter head etc,

From what I remember from when the pump went out of my 1855, these pumps are kinda hard to rebuild and it is something you should not tackle yourself. I bought a new pump when mine went bad, it was a White pump with a higher capacity and I think it was about $1100 from AgCo with a one year warrenty. The rebuild of the old pump was going to cost about $800 from AgCo if I remember right and had only a 30 day warrenty. Sence I was using a loader on this tractor and I wanted a little more capacity in the pump anyway I went with a new one. Hope this helps.
