Model 60 Oliver

I inherited a model 60 Oliver tractor. The only information I have about it is that is from the 1940's, and it is froze up and possibly needs new sleeves and/or pistons. I would like some information on its value.

as the other poster pointed out, the pre fleetline Olivers (1948 and prior) tend to be expensive to work on.

the other problem with them (including the Oliver 60, and I have owned one) is that when you're finished restoring it you have a parade tractor, nothing more. no hydraulics, no independent PTO. very primitive by today's standards and not even that great a tractor for light chores.

completely restored, i wouldn't pay more than $2000 for one, and that's on the high side, IMHO.

a copy that needs an engine rebuild and probably tires i wouldn't give more than $250 for. the owner is better off parting it out.

hi im not an exspert but the 60 wasnt olivers most popular they are exspensive to restore as most olivers are they were made from about 40-47 it is a 4 cylinder wakashaw about 120 cubic inch there were several versions/options and some had a mechenical lift value depandes on your area and what else the tractor needs if you need more information contact me
