1600 gas value help!!

Looking at a 1600 gas wide front, nice rubber, repainted 5 yrs ago, so paint is above average. seemd to run out very well. What is the value of that tractor here in warm Ohio!! Also any problems to look for?? Thanks Ray

First thing is make sure it has the new style power steering,the manuel steering works,but its 8 turns from left to right.The second thing to remember is that the 1600 has a pto that will turn up to 700rpm.You have to operate the engine at a slower speed so you don't over speed some things.When used on most things it wont matter and you can run at reduced engine speed and still get 540.

Here's a picture of my 1964 late model 1600 gas Oliver that I bought last year for $4500. It has 2700 hours, been repainted years ago, 12 speed, 3 point hitch, two remote hydraulics, live 540 rpm PTO, power steering, fair tires and everything works as it should. The only thing I did to the tractor after buying it was to give it a tune up. This is one great tractor, small enough to plow snow from the drive and will work all day around the farm. I also live in Ohio.

I have a Woods blade on the back of the tractor. I offset it to one side in order to get beyond the side of the tractor. It works pretty good but it gives you a stiff neck if there's alot of clearing to do.
