How do I tell if it's a 77rc or a Super77rc ??

As far as I know, the "super" models didn't have side curtins. There was some problems with overheating in hot weather with the fleetline series. The H>P> was upped for the super series and the side curtins were eliminated. The hood is styled.

the supers did have side curtains just not full cover with louvers..they were cutout to allow for more air movement..supers also had a flat mounting area at the nose of the tractor cast into the frame..non supers were rounded..makes it easy to spot from a distance

Look for a serial number near the right brake housing. My 88's serial pad says that it is an 88 and that it is a row crop. Also if it is original, and hasn't had any motor work done to it that you know of, check it on a dyno. Good Luck!!!

The serial # plate for later 77s and Supers are on the left lower side of the dash area.

s77 has holes for pipe frames and mounting pads for newer equip
77rc has pipe frame holes only no mounting pads
other differences also
