In recent weeks I have found several olivers for sale. A Super 55 that I am aquainted with and several Oliver 70's. Can someone give me a brief overview of what features that the 70's had ( hyd. any live power or pto? As far as I'm concerned the Olivers are the most sleek looking of all. I own Farmalls and Massey Harris tractors now. Thanks

The Oliver 70 had essentially no "features"- most had a PTO (not live), some had hydraulics, but that is about it. No 3 point. My recollection is that the PTO shaft is higher up on the back of the tractor than most- leading to problems with length of shaft on implements (too short). Most 70's now are parade tractors, of just used to pull a hay wagon occasionally.

What is the avalibility of parts? A quick look didn't turn up too much. I also read the brief history. A beautiful tractor. Looks like no hyd. at all.
