hey yall, im in search of an uncracked, unwelded block for a 1947 oliver 70. also need a sleeve/piston kit for it, the rod and main bearings, a complete gasket kit, and a valve train kit. did anyone make a complete overhaul kit for this one? thanks in advance.

I have the block you need (not sure it is 1947 but that wont't matter I'll check serial no.) the sleeves are not bad.I was going to use it myself but do not need it now. call (908)689-9001 for more.

block I have, sleeves and pistons I have used,mains and rod brgs you can get new mains about $260 rods 40 to $60, gasket sets new $140 new head parts have to be made from some thing else avg. cost 200 to $250 I do have a good complete used head just needs a grind. I know that I have said this before but 70 engines are expensive to fix. Look for a good running engine in a crappy tractor and buy the whole thing You will be money ahead. Hey John, how much is shipping on the block to Laurie, MO 65038? its a business address. and is this the correct block for the 1947 model? i cant keep the 3 and 5 gear ordeal straight. thanks

Hi, Glad to see you know that shipping business to business saves at least $30 on freight. It also saves $3 on UPS. This block would be a 3 gear correct for your 1947. The 5 gear is correct for 35,36,37, and some of 38.
