What Cockshutt tractors usd the 273D Buda engine? I am guessing that used the same power cell design they used on the 230 and 262 engines? What pump was used on these tractors? Thanks for any info.

Cookie is correct. The only Cockshutt tractor to use the 273D Buda engine was the model 50. This tractor was also sold as the the Co-op E5 or Blackhawk 50. My thinking is that some used the Roosa pump.

I believe the Cockshutt 30 has a 273 gas Buda engine as well. Fairly strong engine. Always started right up, but could have problems with the downdraft carb in colder weather.

The 30 cockshutt has a 153 like Al says. The 273 was only used in the 50 cockshutt, co-op, and farmcrest.

I believe the Farmcrest only came in the 30 style, not the larger 40 or 50.
