HI I HAVE A LITTLE OLIVER OC-46 TRACK LOADER AND THE TWO SPEED GEAR BOX WILL NOT GO IN TO THE LOW SPEED IT HAS A THREE SPEED TRANS IN IT WITH THIS TWO SPEED. TO WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET IT FIX OR CAN I FIND A NOTHER GEAR BOX .

I'm with Ron on this one. Have an Oc46 with a loader and have the travel reverser on it also.
If you don't have a manual get one and check it out. Also, on the Cletrac website there are displays of a sales brochure, with pics, for the both an OC4 and an OC46 w/loader; also has a list of specs for both the OC4 and Oc46. You can print all this out and keep it on file.

know i did not know about this web site i do have a small manual for my laoder but it dos not say mush on it but just where it is thank you darrell

Darrell: You are right, not much in one manual on the travel reverser. However, at the top of all these posts is a place to click for Oliver manuals; In the SEARCH block aabove all other manual listings ( and OC46 is not among them),enter OC46 and info on ordering manuals for the OC46 will show; Operator manual for the OC46 is available for about $30 plus S & H if you don't have one. You could go back to that Cletrac website and ask Blake (webmaster) for info and how to use the reverser...or go to Landis Zimmerman in Ephrata PA. Another possibility...f you are seriously into the OC46 or other Cletracs, get a membership in the Hart Parr Oliver collector bunch; their slick magazine has a goldmine of information and pics on this sort of stuff. Good luck.

YES I HAVE DONE SOME BUSINESS WITH ZIMMERMAN BEFOR AND FOUND THAT THEY ARE A GOOD PLACE TO SHOP FOR PARTS I ALL SO HAVE FOUND OUT THAT A LOT OF THE OLD TRACK DRILLS OUT THERE ARE THE SAME SUD FRAME AS A OLIVERS WOULD THIS BE TRUE FOR THE TRACKS TO THANK YOU DARRELL

Darrell are you sure it is Two speed gear box and not a travel reverser. My father sold the OC46 loaders new and I can't remember seeing one with a two speed tran. They did have a travel reversed.

well on this RON P I would have to look this up. I do know that it has a low and high gears in it I pick this loader up for under $ 1500. hunderd dollars AND all i had to do was fix the fuel line and put the track back on yes i got luckey and have had it is use for the last 3 years now I all so have a aills chamer model-b trackter with a loader to that i have restored,. thank you darrell

Guys I said I never saw one with a two speed trans in a loader or any thing else. They did come equiped with travel reversers. Also usually with spot turn in loaders. Dozers did not do very good with spot turn. We hauled them out of the Cleveland Plant in the late 50's to early 60's. Our farm version of the OC4 has a 3 speed trans with a 3 cylinder engine equiped with 3 pt hitch. It is a 68 gage

HI RON I THINK THAT I WAS CALLING THIS BY THE WRONG NAME I DID FIND A SHOP MANUAL FOR THE OC-4 AND THE OC-46.WICH. I HAVE THE OC-46-3C YEAR 1958 I THINK AND BACK THEN THEY CAME WITH A AUXILIARY TRANSMISSION THIS COULD BE EITHER THE TRAVEL REVERSER OR SLO-LO I THINK I HAVE THE SLO-LO IN THIS ONE BUT I WOULD LIKE TO FIND ALL I CAN ABOUT MY OC-46 IF THERE IS A WEB SITE THAT I CAN GO TO DARRELL

DARRELL POST THAT WEB SIGHT IF YOU EVER FINE ONE, BECAUSE THERE IS VERY LITTLE TALK ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE OLIVER CRAWERS. WE SOLD OC 4 AND OC6'S FOR FARM USE AS WELL AS INDUSTRIAL. WE HAD A OC9 SET UP FOR TIMBER US BUT DID NOT SELL IT. I REMEMBER SEEING OC 12 15 18'S AT THE CLEVELAND PLANT.
