Just bought Oliver 60 and need to know how to find out what year ,horse power rating, correct color. Is there a book with sort of stuff? My tractor has front tires that are spaced about 4' apart is this called standard? Are there any clubs in northern CA ? As you can tell I know nothing about tractors but after restoring cars for several years I am getting bored with it; so when I saw this tractor sitting out in a field I fell in love with it and decided it deserved a second chance at life! I am looking forward to hearing from you! Thank You Lee

Lee,

Both the Standard tread and the Industrial shared the same front axle. The Industrial had the additional cast-iron mounting blocks (2 on each side) welded to the sides of the frame rails. Does your tractor have these? What serial# is your machine? The Industrial tractors all started with #46XXXX. I'm restoring #460001 right now, and have been told there were only 814 Industrials built.

Pete
