my 880 sitting out in the yard has 15.5 x 38's on factory spin-outs. make for a great footprint in the field.

The 880 row crop was available with 13.6x38, 15.5x38, 16.9x34 and 18.4x34" rear ties from the factory. The Wheatland version was available with either 18.4x30 or 23.1x26" tires. This information is straight form the parts book and the literature.

Hope this helps,
A.P.

You are welcome. You should have no problem with the tire size as long as you carry a copy of the documentation. I recommend doing it because I occasionally have a problem locally with the 15-30 (18.4x30) tires on my 88 standard. Good luck and keep us updated on your results.

According to the NEDA equipment guide, 13.6-38 tires were standard. That's kind of a skinny tire for a 60 HP row crop tractor. If it was my tractor I would put 15.5-38's on it. It would look a lot better.
