OC-3 Quits when hot?

My OC-3 will crank and run fine for about 30 minutes then will begin to miss under load. Once this starts, it will get progressively worse until it dies. If the clutch is depressed, it will straighten up and run fine. It had this problem before, a new ignition coil corrected it. Leaving it alone for an hour will give me another 30 minutes or so. I have replaced the coil, condensor, points, and plugs. I have also checked the fuel flow and it doesn't overheat. This is the 3rd time in ten years I've had this problem, what can be killing my coil? It has a WICO model X mag. Anyone have a suggestion?

Had a similar problem on a tractor while brush hogging. Tried everything! Changed everything. Come to find out, a piece of bark somehow got into the gas tank and plugged up the hole where the gas ran into the sediment bowl. Just every once in awhile.... Leave it alone for half an hour and it would start right up and run fine. When you've tried all the obvious stuff, then it's time to get inventive!! Think weird....

im,e sure it is electrical.you need your mag rebuilt..... .....
