Oliver loader on a Cockshutt 560?

Been offered a loader off an oliver 770? told it has bucket hyd. and would fit a Cockshutt 560.
Any help/info would be appreciated.

If it's off a later model(checkboard grille, flattop fender) 770, it's probably a 1610, and it would be a good match in size and type for a Cockshutt 560. You will have to fabricate your own brackets to mount it, though.

No difference in any of the "770" Row-Crop frames. The first ones and the later ones are the same. But yes , it would be a nice size match.

Nothing to do with the tractor; the earlier 770's wouldn't have a 1610 loader unless it was fitted later. The 1610's came in around '63 or '64. When the loader is on a 770, and has bucket cylinders, chances are it's a 1610.

Dsl , you through me a curve ball. I replied to this post , saying all the "770"s had the same frame. Yet , in the back of my mind , I'm thinking , Dsl is very knowledgable when it comes to the Olivers. Why would he emphasize only the newer Oliver "770"s with checkered grill and flat top fenders? Now I know. Learn something every day. I wasn't trying to correct you. Just did not understand where you were coming from. See you on another post.
