third party image

At work there is a disk that just sits there in a junk pile right now. I got to looking at it a while back and thought it looked like a Cockshutt disk. The pictures in the books I have are not to great so I wasn't sure. I thought maybe someone here could tell me thanks.

My puter is makeing poor pictures,but that looks like a Kewanee disk.I have one sitting in frot of my house.

The picture doesn't look like any Cockshutt disc I've ever seen, and, I thought the trademark of a Kewanee was it's wrap-around frame? Never seen one without it.

(Some John Deere discs were made by Kewanee, and featured the wrap-around frame/bumper)

That disc is too old to have the wrap around frame.I have an advertisement from Kewanee that shows it.

Say, Matt, I was looking through a book, American Farm Tractors in the 1960's, just last night, and, on pages 139 & 140 there were two pictures of two different G1000's with Terra Tires pulling those exact discs--three of them each in Vee hitches. They weren't likely MM company pictures, because the tractors were fitted with front fenders, and one had an oddball side-mounted (LP??) tank and a slightly bent rear fender. It didn't say what kind of discs they were, and I couldn't read the decals on them, but I thought I'd let you know.
