I have an Oliver Superior Grain Drill with serial number 26-31810 . I was wondering if anyone could help me with any informaion about this drill. I would appreciate any help.

I JUST DUG MY OLD DRILL OUT OF MY BACK BARN TODAY. THE SERIAL # IS 26-45636. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY ARE WORTH?

We still use our 26 drills. They don't damage the beans like the fluted meter drills. I've got seeding charts I can copy and send snail mail if you need them. Last I knew Charlse city museum had operators manuals available.

Is it Red or Green? Wood or Steel wheels?
We had a Oilver Superior grain drill. 26-A
It was Red and had wood wheels. Made around 1930s Good old drill.

This drill has steel wheels. I believe that it is both red and green. As far as I can see on it so far, the grain box is green, with white lettering on the back, and the rest of the steel frame and seeder parts are red. Although some of the drop tubes are green, i'm not sure what color they are supposed to be yet. Maybe some of them are not original.

I hadn't heard that yet, the wheels right now are red, I guess that is the color I was going to paint them. Do you know if the lettering on the back of the box is yellow or white? jeff
