Did you have to do allot of adjusting on the nut to get them to work? Like they stated, if there shims in there then remove them. My 1650 will lock the tires down with no problem. There was an update also where you had the relocate the hole in the actuator lever by simply drilling a new one. Was suppose to help on the sensativity of the adjustment. The Oliver place here told me when the resurface the covers the make sure to resurface the mating area as well to keep the same clearance.

Get the center actuators. At least try one side I know they are not cheap.

we got improvment by using bigger balls in actuators as grooves were wore badly. Works in older ones too.

If your brake covers have shims, take shims out for adjustments instead of turning the nut. I have had good results coating the balls and ball ramps with moly grease instead of leaving them dry. These brakes can work very well if everything is right.
