I have a 1950 oliver 2wd, good metal and tires, runs good, good hyd-power, needs seat, and hyd pump. Has not been run for the last couple of years. What price should I ask for it. Should I put the seat on it and pump before selling?

Two years ago I paid $5,000 for a real nice 1967 Oliver 1950 with dual 18.4x38's.I had to go 300 miles to a farm sale to get this one.There are a few 1950's in my area but no one wants to sell.

Give me a call on Email i have 4 99 olivers with gm engine and I am really intrested in yours and prices are way better than 3750.00 for running tractors. missing parts are reflected in the price

we buy 1950s for farming and resale most of the time we get them for 2500-4500 depending on cond it takes an awfully nice one to get the higher price we just got one we are putting new injectors in and we are going to ask 3750.00 for it

According to the 2002 Primedia Used Tractor Guide, an Ollie 1950 2WD with the GM goes from anywhere from $3,300 to $4,840, depending on age and condition. I know that seems ridiculously low, considering there is no tougher or more reliable Diesel than the GM, and the Oliver was a great stout tractor. AS Mark says, recent ad's are your best guide. Try sites like Fastline.com, etc for ad's. good luck, just my $0.02

I would put the seat & pump on to get the most you can out of it. As far as what to ask, I'd look on different web sites and want ads for comparable vehicles, then adjust up or down for what yours is compared to the tractors you find. I know this is vague, but its better than offering you $100 for it.
