Oliver 1850 specs. needed. regulator question.

We are waiting for a hauler to tote our 1850 home. Wondering how wide the front wheels are? How much does the tractor weigh with rear wheels filled. No weights on front, no cab. Also want to know capacities, fuel, hyrdaulics, coolant.

I just bought an I & T shop manual on ebay, and am hunting for an Oliver owners manual and parts/repair manual. We are still waiting for the I & T manual to come. So I'm shooting in the dark.

What is involved in changing over from an alternator with a voltage regulator to a single wire alternator? Are we better off to just change out the voltage regulator rather than rewire?

Thanks for all the Oliver info. There aren't too many of these in our area.

Thats me alright. I was due to find a good tractor sooner or later. I have read a lot in the archives before I bought this 1850, so it was no surprise to find out that it has sloppy steering.
Saw that 1850 that Shep has redone. I don't see that in our future, but man, what a rig he put together.Mike
