Hello, I have an old Cletrack and it runs. I would like to know what year it is and more about it. I have a model number (E-38") serial number (7B46). The engine number is 233722 size 4 X 4-1/2 model 00C. This is all the information I can read off it. If anybody knows how I can find out more, please help me. Thank you. Spike

Yours is a Pre streamlined E 38 made from 1934 to 36. Serial numbers started at 7B30 in 1934. the OOC engine was used from 1931 to 42 in several models. The 38 refers to the gauge of the tracks, ie the center to center distance of the tracks. They were made in 31, 38,42,62,68 and 76 gauges.

Spike, you may want to post this over at:>Link
I>Link did a quick look for the serial number but didn't find it.
Is it gas or diesel?
a picture would help as well if you could post one.
E models were mid 30's to early 40's as I recall.
