I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with Hydraulic pulse-tone suppressor www.parker.com goto accumulators I believe. Today I installed an external double piloted load check onto lines near my loader, removed load checks in tractors hyd remotes. Totally changed the way my loader comes down when trying to ease down, at least not the extreme chug-a-lug action. I was going to install an accumulator on the return line (as it is the line pushing the load check for the lift line). I robbed an Parker accumulator off of a grain cart we own, and proceded to go have it's charge tested in town. Unfortunately the shop bled off it's nitrogen because it does not have the typical shrader valve which we did not know about, so I went looking on the net at parker-hanifin to see if it could be re-charged, which they have the # for the tool needed. But more importantly I noticed these Pulse-tone suppressors which I did not know existed. Does anyone have any experience with these?

I know the systems are different, but when I installed my loader off the remotes it chattered really bad. I adjusted all of the restrictors as the book stated, but it still chattered. I installed a 99.00 loader valve with float and hooked it to the power beyond and all the problems went away. One problem I still have is using single acting cylinders (offset disc and harrow) that they slowly lift up while I'm working off the remotes. DA Cylinders don't do it and I thought I performed the needed adjustments for the SA cylinder set up. It has become a royal pain.

I don't know what kind of accumulator you have but you may be able to have it recharged at a john deere or IH dealer. They both use accumulators on the combine hyd to float the heads. Just a thought, WB.

I tried all 3 of my local dealers, no one has the right fitting to charge the Parker Metric M28 fitting.
