Oliver 880 powerjuster rim color

I have a 1959 880 and was wondering if the powerjuster rims were suposed to be clover white or argent silver. I've seen it both ways and my rims are too badly rusted to see what it was originally. Any help would be great.

I do not know for sure about the power-juster rims. I do know that the regular rims and wheels on the early 770 and 880 were white. I have a 770, 1959, and it came with white wheels and rims. I suspect that the power-juster wheels and rims were also white.

They were white on every 880 I've ever seen.

My 55's a 1954 and 1957 with power adjust rims both had silver rims and red hubs as original colors. It seems that the silver was the prefered color by the rim mfgrs.
