770 pistons

I tore down my 770 and found it has a high dome piston in it. Not sure what kind but there is a part number of AP-81. They measure 3.560 bore at the sleeves. Have not pulled them out of the engine yet. can see the part number from the bottom.

pulled them out and everything looks good. no wear on them rings and bearings look good. Wil be going back the way it was. must have been the valve guides causing all my smoke. Thanks

These were a M@W pistons replacement. They are no longer available. I can sell a piston/sleeve replacement set of M@w 3 3/4 bore for $530.. or a complete engine overhaul kit for 850.
