Looking at an 1800 gas Oliver. Good shape, brakes need some work, tires about 50-60%. Wants $3300...good deal? Bad deal? Good/bad tractor?

Appreciate any feedback!

I grew up on one. Tractor was okay but they do like the gas. the 50 series I liked alot better. It just depends on what you plan on doing with it. That was my only dislike.

Rick, I thought the 1800 set the record for burning the least amount of fuel in it's class? The one we had was easy on fuel, but we went to diesel with the 1850.

It is my understanding that the "A" series (the first ones) had some hydraulic problems. The B and C series are supposed to be more desireable.
Others can tell you far more than I can.

Sounds like some one is getting an Oliver for Christmas :)
