Oliver 1955 for parts, what is it worth?

Friend has a 1955 diesel turbo that is in good condition, other than the engine is shot. It is a 310 Waukesha. Looks like it ran hot in the bearings - they are discolored. Crankshaft is shot for sure, has already been cut .020" and will need to be cut again. Probaby need sleeves and pistons too after having bearing shavings run through it.

Does anyone need parts for theirs? The rearend and tranny is excellent. Around 5000 hours on the tractor. Good injection pump, good injectors, turbo, good block and head, etc. Tires, rims, etc. all good too. Tin is 100% like new with good paint. If anyone needs parts, let me know what you would pay for them.

Has Oliver factory cab with add on air conditioning unit/heater. All you have to do is mount AC pump on engine, and hook up heater hose. Thanks for your help!

The last parts tractor I purchased was a 1855 for $1,500. Can you email me with more details on this tractor?

If it is still in that good condition, repower it with another engine, sounds like the 310 is shot, so put a big Cummins in it and keep going. If you dont want to put another engine in it, let someone else have a shot at it before you part it out. Where is the tractor located????

It is located in North central South Dakota right now. May be moved back to South central ND in a couple weeks.

Looked into the Cummins repowering - close to $10,000!! Plus, he has a 2-180 White that he can use instead.

Would like to sell it whole, but what is it worth? The tin is perfect, the over/under is great too, along with everything else. It's just too bad the engine went and he cannot afford to fix.

I bought a 1655 in simular condition with a busted engine for $1,000, and bought a 1850 with a blown moter for $1,500. Here on the east cost that is about what Olivers with blown engines go for, at the most $2,000, but that tractor is a long way from me. Good luck selling it.

It is a 73 model, and would consider selling whole unit if you want it. 3-point, dual hydralics. Injection pump was rebuilt around 300 hours ago.
