Were lights an option on a 1650? Would it be possible to easily retrofit them if not included from the factory?

Yes your 1650 should have come standard with lights. The 50 series had one light on each fender on the front and a flood light on the right rear fender and a red tail light on the left rear fender. You can easily put these round lights on if your tractor doesnt have them or, what I have been doing is replacing the factory lights with square halogen lights that are a little brighter and more reliable, but not origional.

Here is an example, this is actually a 1550 picture but you get the idea and the lights are the same.
