I'd like to try antique tractor pulling, but have not had much luck finding information on the subject. From what I have seen, Olivers have a really good combination of weight and horsepower for this purpose. I've had one puller I met suggest that a 66, 77 or 88 would be a good tractor with which to start, but I'm still looking for more information about how to set a tractor up for pulling. Any thoughts? Thanks, Glenn

My 66 does an excellant job in the 3,000 and 3,200
class. could use more ponies for 3,500. drawbar at 20 inches helps. check compression, more compression, more power, use a better grade of gas, This will help you get started.
