They went a little higher than I could afford for what they were. The 1755 ran good, started good, was leaking transmission oil out the back (PTO seal it looked like) leaked diesel fuel out of the rubber return T's, like most of them, and was leaking out of the steering cylinder out front. Also the wide front had some serious problems, it would steer both wheels to the right about half what it should and the wheel would stop. Then if you went to the left the right wheel would follow the left about half enough and stop and the left wheel would keep going until it was 90 degrees around. It wasnt in the tie rods that I could see, but I havent seen one do that before. I think the steering motor was having problems. Anyway it sold for $4,200 looking like that with 2600hrs on the tach.

The 1255 looked good 4x4 with a large Oliver loader on it, the 4x4 worked and looked good, the steering bushings were shot and it had a lot of play in the steering, the disel sounded good but leaked fuel and oil, nice paint and almost new tires, sold for $5,300.

I did manage to buy a New Holland 56 roll a bar hay rake in good shape and a Pequea rake bridge hitch to hook my now two rakes togeather. Both needed a little work but both in good shape.

Looks like I dodged the Skellitt again. I will try to get some pictures on my site of the rakes and the bridge in action when I get them going in a few weeks.

1650 gas, WF, PS, hydrapower, Oliver 3 point with original top link, 2 remotes (1 electric). Leaked everywhere. Faded but not wrecked, tires held air, 3 front weights. Pulled dipstick, about 10W oil that smelled like gas. 6400 hours on clock. Tractor was just plain wore out.
$2500. Both the wife and I are glad I didn't buy it. Local dealer went $2350 and quit - always a bad sign.

FYI, Farmall Super A, Plow, cultivator, weights, in decent shape but not restored - $4400!! And then he sold the plow for $60!!

White SAR 4 bottom plus 2 Oliver 4 bottoms, would have made 1 nice plow and 1 fair plow - $150 for all.

Scary, but molboard tillage has gone out hte window.
