My neighbor has an oliver 3 bottom 3 point rollover moldboard. How many of these were made. Also the moldboards are not solid. It looks like there are spaces in it about an inch apart. Can anyone tell me what this was made for and what it is worth? Thanks in advance.

Hello there Jon. Sounds like you got an Oliver 2-way plow. I dont know about production numbers, but the slotted moldboards are there to reduce sticking of soil. Hopefully someone will know production numbers for you, but I havent seen one of them in my life. Of course I live in dairy country in Southeastern Minnesota, so there are alot more people out there that can give you some help. Best of luck:)

The slotted moldboards are for gumbo or other soils that are sticky. Pulled easier. Roll over plows are still popular in terraced ground.
