My family has a 1963 Oliver 550 (Gas). It is in good to very good condition. Does anyone have an idea as to what these tractors might be worth? Please indicate US or CDN dollars. Thank-you

I sold a S55 diesel with an Oliver 1610 loader for $4200.00 last Nov. It was all new mechanically & needed nothing but paint.

Are you in Canada? I have only seen one for sale in the Fraser Valley of BC and it went for $5000 CDN. It was in good shape, but I wouldn't say it was in great shape. I don't know if it had external hydraulics or power steering, but I am geussing it did.

Most of the ones I have looked at range $2k-4K USD. There are some options that make some of them more desirable than others. i.e. External Hyd. Controls, Spin-out rims, wheel weights.

Dollar for dollar, pound for pound I consider the 550 one of the best utility tractors out there bar none. I have a 550 Dsl that I love. This rigs works its heart out day or nite on my efforts to reclaim nearly 100 acres of overgrowth.

Also, IMHO Olivers seem to be more in demand as collector items as prices keep climbing. I must admit though I have contributed to this by only owning now 25 acre and lease another 100 acres.
Been looking for a cheap 1650 or 1850 to save some wear and tear on my 550.

We are located in east central Missouri and just sold a super 55 diesel for $3500. It was in fair condition, no power steering, no factory draw bar, and needed painting. I have bought a 550 gas and I won't sell it period. They are very good tractors.
