Where is a good place to find a set of better than stock set of rods.I'm putting a 310 together for my 1855.I might put a bigger head on the pump some day for pullin, but not for sure so i just want to have a good base to start with.I've already got heavy main caps and the guy i got it from had it line bored.I have a little bit to work with I got the cooler block for 600$ and the 1975 1855 for 1500$w/inspection hole, but brand new crank fresh overhaul b4 it puked, new clutch &hyd pump.hopefully i can get her going fairly reasonable.also beside the normal things to watch for is there any better things to use than others such as head gaskets or pistons or is stock the best way to go to stay reliable. thanks for any help!

Cunningham Rods have about the best rod out there. Pricey though. I paid almost $1500 for 6 custom length rods for my 88.
