Can someone tell me what the original tire sizes were when these tractors were new? Front and Back? Or what size should be put on for restoration..This is a 1948....thanx

I just took a pair of origional 10x38s off a 1947 COOP E3 One was in very good shape One was very bad Had to replace with 11.2x38, no 10x38 made anymore.

Dave, its too bad you are so far away from us -we'd love to buy that original 10-38 from you to match one that we have for #1 Son's F-12 Farmall. (I know its not green, but one of its stable mates is a 1600 Ollie.) Most F-12's have 36" rear rubber if their steel was cut off & replaced w/rubber-not this one. We can't find an old 10-38 to match what we've got anywhere we've looked in SE SD, NW Iowa, NE Neb or SW Minn. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

It should have 11.00-38 or 10.00-38 on rear
the front is 5.50-16 as far as I know.

I figure on 12.2x38 for the rears, but I have a pair of 6x16 on a fertilizer spreader, in new condition I want to use... do you think the correct police will make much of it?

12x38 and 16x6 were Cockshutt options on late 1940s models through the mid 1950s. My preference is for a little beefier tire anyway. Original standard sized rubber on many tractor makes through that era provides a rather stingy look.

So you're hangin' out here now are you? You are a man of many colors ... well not really ... just different shades of red. Sounds like you bought the 30. I've seen them with the bigger tires on the rear and I think the 12.6's might look a bit beefy. Did you find some at a good price? Drop me an email.

The 13.6 looks kind of beefy, but I think the 12.4 would look okay, had them on my Farmall 300
