I was wondering if anyone knows the speeds (in mph) for each gear for a 77 row crop model at full throttle with a 15.5-38 tire. I was also wanting to know what parts to use when building a pulling engine. I heard that there are some waukasha natural gas industrial engines that have good components. I have also been told that 1650 or 1850 engines should be used. I was also told that a 1850 gas engine has 7 mains. Does anybody have any experience with this or know somebody I can talk to? Thanks.

I am sorry I should have told you that it is not a stock puller. The engine out of the 1800 and 1850 is still a waukesha right? I believe a 310? And you are still talking about a gasser.

The 1800 and 1850 has 7 mains but you are talking about a totaly different engine than the 194 that is in your 77 now.

The larger engine make good puller engines but are not legal in most clubs for "stock" pullers.
