How much would an Oliver Super 88 Diesel weigh with a WFE , 3 point hitch and one set of rear wheel weights?

The book I have shows the wide front as 188 pounds more than a narrow front.

My Super 88 narrow front with fluid in the tires weighed in at approx. 6500#, because it just made the 6500# class pulling antique. Adding a wide front surely will add 200-300# more than a narrow front.

I have a 880 gas n/f with 14.9/38s hydraulics, power traction 3 point hitch and two factory wheel weights --no fluid in tires , it weighs 5300 lbs bang on without me on it. You could add about 350-400lbs to that for the wide front. you probably weigh about 5750-5800

I looked this up in my 1958 tractor field book.
Nebraska test No. 527 Oliver S 88 diesel

Chassis type tricycle.

Total weight as tested 9465 lbs With operator. I know wheel weighs from the 88 i had are 150 lbs. Remember, the tractor in this test was probably weighted to the max.

Thanks for the info. Does the Nebraska test book give the starting weight or dry weight before they added ballast? The weights are about 150 lbs each, correct?

Most of the weights we have are 150 but we have one smaller pair that must be 130.

I don't know about that! The weights i have from the 88 we had are 150. I just use them on the disk now. BTW the 88 we had was a really old one. I was a 88 but looked like 70

Most tractor weights are 150 lbs each.
As for the weight of the tractor in my book,it just said. Tatal weight as tested.

Hey i looked in the operators manual. I had a 88 but the book i have is for the S 77 and 88
The shipping weight of a RC S88 is 4700lbs
It don't say if that's for Gas or Diesel

They must have really put some weight on the one they tested.
