I am going to an auction next week that has a 880, with 3 pt. hitch, power steering, working hydraulics, unsure about paint and sheet metal, I am wondering what it is worth. I am not sure, any help is appreciated.

As a twist to your original question, what is an 880 pedal tractor worth? I have a friend who has one he restored.

Where? I'd like to come bid against you!

Seriously, the price guid econfirms the numbers in the previous post. SOmething to check is that the 2-speed still works - the tractor should move in low (lever pulled back). The parts (sprag) are not too bad but what a pain!
A 770 gas in need of a tune-up and with a soft sprag, aftermarket 3 point, NF PS went for $950 at a local auction (wife made me leave 2 tractors before - boy was I mad!). The dealer that bought it sold it for $1700 2 weeks later.

Running 880 Oliver is worth between 1500 and 4000. A lot depends on tires and rims. Diesel is worth more than gas. If it doesn't have side panels ,they cost 400. I am looking for a 770 or an 880 with a bad engine if you can help let me know.

We have an 880 with a Duall loader on it, we gave $1900 for last winter. It was rough, it ran but we put a lot of work in it. The reason I want another one is because the one I have doesn't have power steering, or and 3 pt. hitch. The hydraulics are not working either, we have an external PTO pump to run the loader. Anyway when we bought this one we thought we could fix the hydraulics, put on power steering, and so on but finding time to do it is very hard to come by right now. If I can pick up this other 880 for the right price I will switch the loader over and have a better piece of equipment. If I find another 880 or 770 I will let you know.
