Al, I have an early serial number tractor, but I
believe they would all be the same. The pins are
pressed in, so the best way to change/remove is
press them out and back in. They will drive out
with a hammer and punch if you don't have a press. Don't use heat or twist with a wrench of any type as the hole could enlarge or the flutes on the pin may be ripped off.

I have a hand arbor,just wanted to hear from othher's experiances before attemtting.

p.s.my brother is to weld up the box today,water is rising,tractor is sitting in the flood plain ,better fix it tomorrow.

Not having an arbor press, we just drove them out with a 3/8' drift punch and drove them back in with a 3/4" brass drift. We backed up the plate with a heavy piece of steel while we drove the pins. They were no problem at all.
