I have an old 2-70 sitting in the weeds. The other night at the tractor pull, I saw an Allis Challmer pull in a 6200lb class. It has a 301 motor in it. I am wondering what your thoughts would be on building this White with a turbocharged 310 out of a 1950-T. Do you all think that the rearend could handle more than just stock power? Also how much weight do you all think I could loose on it. I think it weighs around 8600lbs. Anyway thanks.

Jack, There is a guy near here in Southern Wisconsin that pulls 1655 with the original block and it sports well over 800 horsepower. He does well with it.

That tractor is the same as a 1655 and i would think it should handle a stock 310 no problem as long as you're not doing heavy work with it all the time.we had a 1655 as our main tractor for many years, only thing we ever put in was a clutch and batteries.good luck!
