OC3 engine timing

Jim: off this website order a reproduction of the official Oliver manual for OC3 engine. Cost is about $30 plus S&H but will worth it. The manual will give you all info you will want or need about timing. Been there, done that. Warning: take seriously that info about the positive ground system and NEVER get those battery cables hooked to the wrong battery terminal Been there, done that too, and paying the price. Extent of damage and repair necessary still to be determined: either crashed the volt regulator or maybe fried field coil in starter..and generator.??..don't know yet. Take care. sometimes you have luck but don't count on it. Follow the instructions PC
