I have a 1755 with the 310 in it. I just got it back from the shop because it was leaking coolant into the engine somewhere, but they couldnt find the problem anywhere. now, 2 hours since haveing it back, I noticed that the water pump is leaking out the weep hole. Could this be where the coolant is leaking into the oil? Only problem they found at the shop was that the head was warped .004"so the head shop shaved it flat again. What's your opinion?

The weep hole is there to let coolant out when the seal is leaking. Run it some more and the ceramic seal may smooth out and seal up if it is of that type.

The motor may have gotten hot and warped the head enough to allow some water in the oil but that is fixed now. Don't worry about it and keep a check on the fluid levels.

I am still running it, I need it to run the chopper while doing the straw, put about 5 hours on it since i noticed it, mainly hard running also.I plan to replace the pump, but I am keeping an eye on it, checking levels before getting it hot, and watching the temp and oil press gauges constantly. just have to watch and wait i guess.

If you have coolant leaking into the oil it is probably the o-rings on the bottoms of the sleeves. WB.
