Oil in radiator

Am I missing somthing here? What should I look for next? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar problem in a John Deere 2030 tractor once. When I went to check the antifreeze for the winter the radiator was full of an oil and water mix. The tractor had always used oil from the time it was new and even after an overhaul at the dealer still used oil. It always had plenty of power so I had just gotten used to it. The use of oil was normal for the tractor so I did not worry about it till I found it in the radiator. It turns out that the bottom of one of the liners had rotted off due to cavitation and was letting the oil through. This time I overhauled it using M&W pistons sleeves and rings and I have not had any other problems with this and it no longer uses any oil. I was told that a way to prevent this was to use a coolant conditioner in the system to combat this corrosion and pitting of the liners. I am sure Agco has such a coolant conditioner for sale but if not the Deere stufff is blue and comes in a 16 oz. bottle. I can get you a part # if you need it. This may not be the problem in your case but could be a source of the leak. I had to end up getting the radiator boiled at a repair shop to get all the gunk out of it.

Be careful when installing new o-rings on the liner that they do not get rolled when installed. Also do not use oil on them as it will deteriorate the rubber use dishwashing soap instead. (This straight from my instructions with the M&W piston & liner set I also put in my Super 77)

What about the top of the block? any bad spots there? How about the protrusion of the liners? I assume it has them?

I don't know much about Oliver engines, these are just the things I would look at on a Deere.
