Would a GM 6.2 diesel fit into a super 88 frame? I bought a S 88 but motor is locked up and not orginal. So, maybe a repower unit or part it out. Like new 15.5 on back and the rest of it is in good shape.

It could probably be made to fit, as I saw a Chevy 350 in a David Brown 990 one time. But this is not a tractor engine, It might be OK in a tractor for a conversation piece and is fine for light trucks but I'm not sure how it would stand up to heavy tillage or competition pulling. For those duties, I would rather see a remanufactured tractor engine in there, such as the Cummins B, Deere engines, maybe a used Detroit 2 or 3 cylinder, etc. Just my 2 cents, for what ever it is worth..
